Amnesia and the Mystic Eye of Petrification (記憶喪失、そして石化の魔眼。 "Kioku Sōshitsu, Soshite Ishika no Mame.?) is the tenth episode of the second season of In Another World With My Smartphone anime.
Plot[]
Flora informs Touya that thanks to the Alchemy Ward, the young lady's injuries have quickly healed. The only problem was she developed amnesia. Led to the young lady's room, Touya asks her a couple of questions, but she's unable to answer them. When asked who he was, Touya introduced himself as Grand Duke of the Duchy of Brunhild and explained he rescued her after finding her injured somewhere. Having no name to call her, Touya decides to call the young lady Sakura because the color of her hair reminds her of a Sakura tree. Amused by the name, Sakura smiles and blushes a bit.
Afterward, Touya informs Elze and Lucia about Sakura in Brunhild while she spends time in the garden as Kougyoku watches over her. Touya would later find Sakura in the garden gazebo singing a lovely song, giving Touya the idea to practice the piano again, and Sakura soon joined him. An intrigued Sakura asks Touya to play a different song, and when he does, she sings in tune with it, which attracts Touya's fiancées and asks for another performance.
Eventually, Touya is visited by Misha, who asks him to subjugate the Catoblepas with deadly Mystical Eyes that's taken refuge in the Melicia Mountains. After learning about the bounty on the monster, Touya decides to accept the quest. Touya would later inform his fiancées about the monster subjugation quest and learn more about the Catoblepas from Leen. It's also decided that Touya's fiancées would accompany him too.
At the Sky Garden of Babylon, Touya gives Yae a new Phrase sword, which he dubs Touka. Phrase weapons are also given to the other fiancées, and when they fight the beast, it's beaten, but Touya's feet are petrified after it's defeated. Although he managed to recover from his petrification by his Recovery Magic, Lucia's feet and most of her legs are petrified. Things become even more complicated after Lucia frees herself from her petrification; most of her clothing has become compromised, forcing Touya to look the other way. However, things became complicated as another Catoblepas petrified Touya's feet. Recalling another spell he learned when learning Fly, Touya casts Mosiac to blur out the Catoblepas eyes. This allows Touya and his fiancées to defeat the second Catoblepas.
Back at Brunhild, Misha later be informed about the two Catoblepas. Touya would also impetuously cast Recovery on the petrified adventurers, forgetting that their clothing would be brittle because of the petrification.
Tristwin, Jamukha, Rig, and Zephyrus all test pilot a Frame Gear Simulation. Cloud, also there, expressed interest in trying it himself. When the four monarchs finished their test pilot simulation, they all expressed high favor for them and interest in having one of their own. Touya then allows them all to be lent one for their kingdoms, hoping to avoid a future crisis involving the Phrases.
Meanwhile, Hilde sat by a table with her gifted Phrase sword and sighed. She's soon joined by her grandfather Galen, who joins her and takes an interest in her sword. Furthermore, he recalls the rumors surrounding the Brunhild kingdom, which draws a laugh from him and confusion from his granddaughter.
