Collecting Books and a Library Café (本収集、そして読書喫茶。 Honshūshū, Soshite Dokushokissa?) is the third episode of the second season of In Another World With My Smartphone anime.
Plot[]
To provide jobs for the former slaves that Touya had rescued, Touya opens up a library cafe and has since used the Workshop of Babylon to mass produce bicycles. From one of Rebecca's team members Will, Touya learns that his grandfather could use Null Magic that specialized in the useless Gravity Spell. On the other hand, Touya believes that it could be one of the ultimate spells.
At the Adventurer Guild, Yumina hopes to rank up, and she and Touya decide to take the Bloody Crab quest because of its materials. Approaching the guild receptionist, Prim, she requests that his library stocks up on a book series, which he agrees to do.
Outside, Yumina explains that the book Prim requested was a BL romance novel series, and its author was the first princess of the Refreese Imperium. Without wasting any more time, Touya carries Yumina to the location of the Bloody Crab and finishes it off using his Gravity Spell. Completing this quest allows Yumina to rank up to Red. Once that is settled, Touya informs Prim that he's about to purchase the novel series she wants and asks if there's any other she wants. Before Prim answered, she asks her colleagues for the other book series they'd be interested in and hands him a list of said novels.
After Yumina shares her memory of the capital of Refreese's capital Bern with Touya, they use Touya's Gate Spell to teleport there. Reaching the bookstore, Touya gives the clerk the list Prim gave him, and as the clerk fetches them, Touya collects other books there. However, as he checks out, he encounters a customer who wants one of his books. This leads to a misunderstanding that Touya is "into BL novels"; hence she offers to autograph all of the Order of the Rose series, thereby revealing herself as the series author. At first, Touya doesn't believe her and claims she'd be Reliel Rehm Refreese if that were true. However, it was true, which led to further misconceptions, until Yumina clears up the misconceptions Reliel had about Touya.
Later, Touya creates a copy of the book Reliel wanted and gave it to her.
By that evening, Touya stocks his cafe library with the books that Prim and her work associates wanted. Meeting with Will, Touya personally thanks him and asks if he could do anything to return the favor. Will asked to make him stronger as he wants to protect one of the cafe employees named Wendy. So Touya introduces Will to the deputy general of Belfastian Knights Neil Suleiman, who agrees to train him. Elze then approaches Touya and asks to teleport her to the Silver Moon inn so she can bathe off the sweat from her training.
Touya talks with Micah at the Silver Moon Inn and learns that the hot spring is a big hit with their customers. Zanac then approaches and talks with Touya mentioning he's a regular there and has recommended his customers visit the hot spring. Also, Zanac informs Touya that he's finished the requested outfit, and Touya has Elze wear it.
Eventually, on a calm, peaceful day, Touya sits with Yumina outside in his mansion's backyard, where they learn from Linze that Reliel had written a new BL novel series and that main character is based on Touya, who, after learning this, vows to gravity chop Reliel in retaliation for making him look like a fool.
