Engagement Rings and Hot Springs (婚約指輪、そして温泉 Konyakuyubiwa, soshite Onsen?) is the first episode of the second season, and the thirteenth episode overall of In Another World With My Smartphone anime.

Plot[]

Touya and his fiancés face off against a couple of Mithril Golems, whom Toya has them drop 10k meters from above using his Gate Spell. This damages them enough so their attacks can affect them, and through the combined efforts of Yumina, Elze, and Linze, manages to defeat them.

Upon returning home, they're greeted by their maids Renne and Cecile, who inform Renne that Yumina has been promoted to Blue Rank, while everyone else was promoted to Red Rank. Right after Touya mentions they're all first-rate adventurers, Renne asks where Francesca is. Touya then realizes that they had forgotten about her. Later, Cesca passive-aggressively insinuates that Touya has an abandonment fetish as she serves him and Leen some tea. After Cesca leaves the scene, Leen compliments Cesca's versatility with her personality. The conversation then shifts to Leen's desire to locate the remaining teleportation circles to the remaining Babylons. Hearing this surprises Touya as he had no intention of discovering them. Still, Leen mentions the importance of learning more about the ancient knowledge or lost technology related to them. So, Touya promises to help Leen if she finds some information related to one of them.

After getting a phone call from God, Touya visits him and the God of Love, where he details how his second life has been going. The God of Love then asks while munching on a cookie why Touya's phone doesn't have a wallpaper featuring his fiancés, which Touya claims would be embarrassing. It's then revealed that both gods had watched Touya buy rings for his fiancés the day before.

Meanwhile, Yumina, Yae, Linze, and Elze briefly talk about the enchanted engagement rings that Touya gave them. Yumina then mentions the possibility of someone who could exploit Touya's kind nature and gives an example where someone asks an unreasonable demand and would later become his fiancé. She also predicts that Touya will have more fiancés in the future.

Later, Touya heads into town with Yae, who drops off her broken sword at a blacksmith's shop to be repaired. On their way home, Yae sheepishly asks for reinforcement that she's really Touya's fiancé, and he confirms it. Yae then shyly asks if she can spend more time alone with him and hold his hand while walking. A flustered shock hits Touya, who proceeds to hold Yae's hand, and they walk home together, hand in hand.

Eventually, King Tristwin and Queen Yuel are informed about their daughter Yumina's engagement with Touya. Yuel then mentions the dark side of Touya's engagement to Yumina would draw a mixed reaction from the noble crowd and should increase his merits. They're joined by Sue, who embraces her older cousin (whom she refers to as her sister) and then Touya.

Returning home, Touya asks Yumina if he'll become king if he marries her, which she confirms it. However, if her Uncle Alfred had a son, that would change. Thankfully though, Yumina mentions that news of their engagement will be withheld for a while. Contemplating on a remarkable achievement that would fulfill the Queen's suggestion, Touya visits the Silver Moon inn, where he asks for Micah and Dolan's advice. They tell Touya that the city lacks any particular product or tourist attraction. Hence, Touya creates a hot spring bath for the inn.

In the women's dressing room, Yumina and the others talk about the newly created hot spring by Touya. Yumina also asks when they each fell in love with Touya, and after they all do, Yumina discloses her reason to them. After this, Cesca tries to climb over the wall that separates the women's and men's sides and becomes paralyzed thanks to Touya enchanting the top of the wall beforehand.

Moments later, Leena barges into the scene with Paula, claiming she's found a Babylon spot.
