The [Hangar] and Frame Gears (『格納庫』、そしてフレームギア。 [Kakunōko], Soshite Furēmu gia.?) is the seventh episode of the second season of In Another World With My Smartphone anime.

Plot[]

One morning at Brunhild, Touya awakens in bed to find Yumina resting beside him. At first, this doesn't shock him until he comes to his senses. Despite Touya's shock and confusion, Yumina argues that he's been too focused on the Brunhild that she deserves that much. With that spoken, Yumina leaves for breakfast, and Touya trying to process the situation, claims he'll get changed.

Laying on the castle grounds with Kohaku, Touya receives a message from Kougyoku that one of the messenger birds has located a Ruin of Babylon. Later, Touya informs his fiancés, along with Leen and Paula, about the newly located ruins in the living room. Lucia decerns its location on the western side of the Kingdom of Sandora. Everyone then voices their hopes of which Babylon Ruin the place could be. Hoping to combat the incoming Advanced Phrases, Touya hopes the ruins be the Hangar of Babylon.

Eventually, Touya and his fiancés reach the ruin location, and there the fiancés handle the local monsters while Paula locates the Ruin, allowing Touya to enter it. Inside it, Touya is attacked by a little girl wielding a giant wrench attacks Touya with it, but he swiftly dodges the wrench. Impressed by Touya's dodge, the girl introduces herself as Fredmonica, but asks to be called Monica.

Learning that Touya has already gotten various other ruins under his control, Monica challenges Touya. Still, she epically loses in the process, forcing Monica to recognize Touya as the Hangar of Babylon's new owner. This excites Touya, who immediately asks to see the Frame Gears there. Monica agrees and shows Touya the area where they're stored, and he's immediately impressed by the Frame Gear he's shown despite it being an old model. However, Touya becomes disheartened when he can't pilot the Frame Gear because it isn't fueled with Ether Liquid. Even more so when Monica claims that the fuel can be created in the Research Laboratory of Babylon, but Flora may know how to make it.

Afterward, Touya and his fiancés visit Flora and learn while she can create the fuel, it'd be an inferior quality. Unfazed by that fact, Touya was once again happy that his chances of piloting a Frame Gear were in his grasp. Although, once again, his hopes were shattered when learning he'll need Ether Ore to create it. Linze asks if the ore in question was spell stone, and Flora confirms it, and they'll need a large version of it to create the fuel. On the other hand, a spell stone in the size they need is near impossible to find.

So, Yae suggests Touya use his phone to search for one, and Touya does specifically for one bigger than 30cm. His search finds six scattered across several countries, one of which was Brunhild. Touya fetches the one in Brunhild without hesitance, and in one month's time, some Ether Liquid fuel will be reproduced.

When Rosetta visits the Hangar, she suggests Touya try sitting in the Frame Gear, and he happily agrees. Rosetta later reveals that she created a simulation system for Frame Gear Training, which Touya also tries out. He'd later bring several of the Training Systems back to Brunhild for his fiancés to try out for themselves and hoped to mass produce Frame Gears.

While pondering about Frame Gears, Sue crashes into Touya and demands that he marry her to avoid an arranged marriage, as explained by Leim. The person in question was Zabune of the Kingdom of Lihnea, and Sue refuses to marry him, and Leim concurs with Sue's sentiment. He explains that Zabune has a bad reputation for his violent and unruly behavior toward women and that he's yet to succeed to the throne despite being over thirty. Hearing this shocks Touya, more so after learning Zabune fell in love with Sue when he met her at a social party.

Under the behest of Sue, Touya agrees to allow her to become his fiancé with his other fiancés' approval, and they then figure out a way to nullify Sue's current arrangement with Zabune.

Sometime after discussing how to nullify the marriage arrangement, Touya visits Tristwin at his manor and learns more about the situation from him. It's learned that the Zabune is just a figurehead of the kingdom and that Prime Minister Wardack and Queen Dacia Zabune's mother use Zabune's power corruptly. They have also forced Lihnea's king to help them with their plans. Although there's a second prince of Lihnea, his birth was from a concubine who was currently ill.

When an envoy of Lihne arrives, it's formally announced that Sue's arranged marriage with Zabune is rejected as she's to wed Touya. Upon hearing this, the envoy begs Touya to use his Teleportation Magic to save his mother. When asked for an explanation, the envoy introduces himself as Cloud Zeph Lihnea, the second prince of Lihnea.
