Two Princes and The Fiancée (二人の王子、そして小さな婚約者。 Ninin no Ōji, soshite Chīsana Konyakusha.?) is the eighth episode of the second season of In Another World With My Smartphone anime.
Plot[]
Kneeling before Touya, Prince Cloud Zeph Lihnea about his situation concerning his mother and Prime Minister Wardack's plan involving Zabune. Hence, King Tristwin suggests an urgent summit to address this and appoint Cloud as the new King.
Eventually, the summit between Touya, Tristwin, Zephyrus, Jamukha, and Rig discussing Cloud's home situation. Ultimately, it's unanimously decided that all nations would assist in Cloud's endeavor, but lay all responsibilities on Touya.
Sometime later, Touya, accompanied by Cloud, Kohaku, Elze, and Yae all infiltrate Lihnea while Touya and his fiancées are shrouded with invisibility magic. They start their mission off by having Cloud give his report to Zabune and see what he's all about. Upon hearing that Sue was already engaged to another, Zabune slaps and chastises Cloud, and reveals his plans to enslave Sue, even reprimanding him for not trying to kidnap her. Learning from Cloud that Sue was engaged to Touya, the duke of the Duchy of Brunhild, Zabune tasks Cloud with spreading false rumors about Touya in Belfast in hopes of preventing Sue's engagement to Touya. The task makes Cloud give Zabune a disgruntled look, as he refuses to do it, and he then kicks Cloud in the gut and proceeds to stomp on his back until his mother, Dacia, intervenes. She suggests they discuss things with Wardack now that he can't marry Sue, and the two, accompanied by their subordinates, follow them.
Later, at a safe location, Touya heals Cloud's injuries, and they talk about the woman wearing the slave collar that was with them earlier and where she originated from. Immediately after learning this, Touya summons the woman and removes her collar, causing her to cry in relief now that she is free from being Zabune's possession as the fiancées comfort her. After that, Zabune approaches Cloud, demanding to know if he's seen his slave; however, he denies it. Wardack then finally appears and, after hearing about the missing slave, suggests that Zabune should kill her with the collar for being so disobedient, not realizing that Touya had removed it. After the slave collar cripples itself (harmlessly), the two walk off, with Zabune expressing anger towards Cloud and forcing him to kill his slave, and Wardock mentions that Cloud will be sent to the Kingdom of Palouf to declare war on the country.
Touya, Elze, Yae, and Cloud would talk about this outside and its consequences on Cloud and the country. Hence, Touya uses Paralyze on the surrounding soldiers. He and his group then infiltrate the fortress, where they find Cloud's mother, Erya, locked in a tower. Erya is taken back to Brunhild, and there, former Prime Minister Koupe visits the group. They then deliberate a plan on how to take down Zabune and his allies.
Zabune, Dacia, and Wardack learn about Erya's absence, and during their discussions on this, Touya uses his smartphone to record the incriminating conversation between Wardack and Dacia. It is revealed that Dacia and Wardack are, in fact, Zabune's parents. After Cloud and the others become privy to this information, Touya informs King Schlaf.
Sometime after this, Touya, accompanied by Ezle, Kohaku, Yae, Cloud, and Koupe, all cloaked with invisibility, witness King Schalf announce his retirement and his successor to the throne. That person is Cloud, and whence his name was called, Cloud unveiled himself and bowed before his father, the King. Wardack, Zabune, and Dacia then raise their objections before the King, who rejects them. Cloud then calls upon Touya to display his visual incriminating evidence on their nefarious plot. With that, Wardack is stripped of his title, and the King gave Zabune the death sentence. Zabune then proceeds to threaten Touya for his hand in the situation, vowing to ruin his repetition, kingdom, and take all of his fiancées. In retaliation, he threatens Zabune back while using his Brunhild to painfully discourage him from trying to take revenge.
Although the death penalty was given to Zabune by the King, the final decision would be made by Cloud, who, after becoming King, had Zabune and his parents sold off to a Sandoran Slave Trader and are forced to work as slaves in Sandora. Koupe becomes the Prime Minister again and banishes those who helped Zabune and his parents. Cloud also joins the alliance with the other Kingdoms. Sue also graciously thanks Touya for what he had done and becomes one of his fiancées.
